human dots

we crated our dot designs out of ourselves. we decided to use our hair to create the dots and sheets for the white space. My two final human dots are on the top then our process shots are following.

Final Nature Form

I finished my cardboard nature form. It ended up standing about 7 feet high with a diameter of 3 feet. Standing in the picture is travis who stands 6'3".

We did designs like the dots but instead of continuance, closure, proximity, and similarity we used playful and periodic. We created 4 of each that we put on 6X6 paper, 2 of which were finished designs.

We did mad lib sentences durring lecture and my sentence was, a powerful dude shot a black dot. We were instructed to take a picture or a series of pictures to illustrate our sentence. I decided to go a little less literal and put my heart into it... litterally.

natural form

For my natural form I have a pod that consisted of tiny seeds put together to form a stiff sphere. I am using tubes to create the seeds. My overall project is estimated to be around 10 feet tall. I have taken a different approch  to building my pod. its much more effective. I built a structure underneath then covered it in a shell. while covering myself in a little bit of decoration as well
