module madness crit
I was one of few who recieved little to no bad crit on my module madness.
good points
burst effect
contrast from dark to white
steel can compared to light feathers
soft
feathers on can
looks like feathers are actually coming from the can ("i feel like if i sprayed that can then fathers would actually come out")
longer on bottom
black feathers look like a jet stream
clean
flippy feathers
there werent any bad points unless you get extremely nit picky like "oh these feathers could be brushed out to make them smoother"

modular madness
We created a non-representational 3D object made from found objects. I created my object from goose and duck feathers and a spray can. I formed the feathers into a cone-like structure and glued it to the spray can that had been stripped of its label. Then to display it I propped it onto a box and placed it where the feathers rested against the wall so it looks as if the "can of feathers" is spraying against the wall.

crit on mini posters
emotional connotations- butterflies, flowers, made with flowers, wing thing, bird, overwelming and light
-one overall emotion-
Feminine and masculine
sond- coloring with crayon, flowers brushing, splat, pow, kabang, waterballoon full of paint
voice- yelling, crowd, screaming fans
-many voices-
bring to mind- flowers, splat
1- easy to read
2-semi easy
2-not so easy
most of the quotes have large visual breaths
expressive pacings of the breaths
to complex
quotes are disjointed
there are some quotes are whispered while on others only certain words are yelled
none were really seen to blend with the marks
the quote matches the marks
the balance makes sense
the quote is read differently with how they are placed
The marks influence the meaning of the qoute, it goes with it due to the flower design

Butterflies are self propelled flowers
The quote I chose is Butterflies are self propelled flowers. I tried a bunch of different sizes and boldnesses of text to create the right feeling.
Mark making device
I created my device out of a sculpting tool feathers and wire. The wire and metal of the tool are a good contrast to the light fluffy feathers.
